How do I choose the right device for my treatment goals?
The right device depends on what you're treating, where treatment needs to be delivered, and what we're trying to accomplish with photobiomodulation.
The Solasta Handheld Laser is our most powerful and versatile device and the one I recommend for the broadest range of treatment goals. Its coherent, collimated laser light allows us to target specific treatment areas and deliver light into deeper tissues and structures when needed.
The Pelvic Light Therapy Wand is designed specifically for internal vaginal treatment. It allows light to be delivered directly to the vaginal, cervical, and surrounding pelvic tissues and is particularly useful when those tissues are an important part of the treatment goal.
For some conditions, there is a benefit to using both devices. Fertility is one example, where the handheld laser and pelvic wand allow us to deliver light to different tissues and treatment areas, with each device playing a specific role within the same treatment protocol.

What happens after I make a purchase?
My team and I will guide you through each step of the process.
1. Tell Us About Your Primary Treatment Goal
Your order confirmation email includes an Action Required section with a link to a one-question form. This helps us determine which assessment is most appropriate for your treatment goals (fertility, pelvic health, lichen sclerosus, pain, etc.).
2. Complete Your Detailed Assessment
We'll email you the appropriate assessment, where you'll provide detailed information about your medical history, symptoms, treatment goals, previous treatments, and any supporting documentation.
3. Review & Accept the Terms & Conditions
Once you've completed your assessment, we'll email you a link to review and accept the Terms & Conditions governing the preparation, delivery, and use of your personalized treatment protocol.
4. Clinical Review & Protocol Preparation
Once you've accepted the Terms & Conditions, I'll personally review your completed assessment and prepare your personalized treatment protocol. If you've purchased more than one device, I'll develop a combined protocol that incorporates both devices into your treatment plan.
5. Protocol & Device Delivery
Your protocol will typically be delivered by email as a PDF attachment within 5 to 7 business days. We coordinate shipment of your device so your protocol is available before your device arrives and you have everything you need to begin treatment.
6. Treatment Check-Ins
Your protocol will tell you when to complete treatment check-ins so my team and I can review how you're responding, answer questions, provide guidance, and make adjustments to your protocol when necessary.
What is included in a personalized treatment protocol?
Your personalized treatment protocol is developed from your completed assessment, my clinical review, the available research for your treatment goals, and the technical specifications of the device or devices you'll be using.
Clinical Review
I begin by reviewing your assessment as a whole, including your symptoms, medical and treatment history, current treatments, medications and hormones, lifestyle, and treatment goals. I identify the factors that are clinically relevant, anything that deserves further attention, and where photobiomodulation fits within your overall care.
Treatment & Dosing Decisions
I bring together the information from your assessment, my clinical interpretation, the available research for your treatment goals, and the specifications of your device(s) to determine your treatment approach and dosing. This includes wavelength, power, irradiance, energy, fluence, treatment time, frequency, treatment mode, and dose.
Your Treatment Instructions
I translate those decisions into clear instructions for completing your treatments. Your protocol explains which areas to treat, the order to treat them in, where and how to position your device(s), how to move them during treatment when appropriate, which settings to select, and how long and how often to treat.
Structured Treatment Progression
Your protocol provides a structured treatment plan that progresses over time. It explains how to begin treatment, how your treatment changes as you progress, and what to monitor along the way.
Treatment Check-Ins & Protocol Support
Your protocol includes access to treatment check-ins, giving you a structured way to let us know how treatment is progressing and ask questions or raise issues specifically related to following your protocol. If your response to treatment indicates that an adjustment is needed, I can update your protocol accordingly.
If you're using more than one device, I develop a combined treatment protocol that coordinates how and when each device is used based on your treatment goals and the role each device plays in your treatment.
How does shipping and delivery work?
We coordinate the shipment of your device with the preparation of your personalized treatment protocol so you receive both as close together as possible. Our goal is for your protocol to be available before your device arrives so you have everything you need to begin treatment.
Shipping within the United States
Once your order ships, we’ll email you a shipping confirmation with your tracking information. Delivery time depends on your destination and the shipping service selected at checkout. Carrier delivery estimates are provided for guidance and may occasionally be affected by delays outside our control.
International Shipping
We ship to many countries around the world. International delivery times vary by destination and customs clearance requirements. Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow its progress.
Duties, Taxes & Customs
International orders may be subject to import duties, VAT, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by your country. These charges are not included in your purchase or shipping price and are the responsibility of the recipient. Customs authorities may also contact you directly if they require additional information or documentation before releasing your shipment.
Device & Protocol Delivery
Your device is shipped to the delivery address provided with your order, while your personalized treatment protocol is delivered separately by email as a PDF. We coordinate the timing of both so your protocol is available before, or as close as reasonably possible to, the arrival of your device.

When should I schedule a consultation with Tracy?
For most people, a consultation isn't necessary before getting started. If you know what you want to treat but aren't sure which device is the best fit, my team and I can usually help you work that out without scheduling a consultation.
A consultation makes more sense when there is more to consider. You may have several health concerns or treatment goals, a complicated medical or treatment history, questions about whether photobiomodulation is appropriate in your particular circumstances, or advice from a healthcare provider that you want to consider before moving forward.
During your consultation, we'll have time to go through your situation in detail, discuss the questions or concerns that are specific to you, and look at where photobiomodulation could fit within your existing care. The goal is to give you the information you need to decide what your next step should be.
